Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) launches ‘Arogya Rakshak’ Health Insurance Plan | Insurance News | International Insurance News | Hamro Insurance

The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) of India on 19th of July 2021 has introduced “Arogya Rakshak” plan which is  a non-linked, non-participating, regular premium, individual, health insurance plan. The plan provides fixed insurance benefits coverage against certain specified health risks. It provides timely support in case of medical emergencies and helps the insured and his family to remain financially independent during the time of uncertainties and difficulties.

 

This “Arogya Rakshak” health insurance plan has been launched on Monday(July 19,2021) by the Zonal Manager (South Central Zone) M. Jagannath through video conference  at LIC Zonal Office unit, Bengaluru. In that Video conference conducted by M. Jagannath  the people who participated include Regional Manager (Marketing) AP-Telangana S.Sainath and Regional Manager (Marketing) Karnataka Uday Kumar Navani .

 

Under this Health Insurance Plan, an individual can insure themself (as Principal Insured), their spouse, all children and parents under one policy. Some of the criteria that is required :

Criteria for Arogya Rakshak’ Health Insurance Plan

Parents Aged 18-65 Years
Children 91 days  – 20 Years
Cover Period Available for

  • Principal Insured
  • Spouse 
  • Parents
Up to Age 80 Years
Cover Period Available for

  • Children
Up to Age 25 Years
